Day 1 Arrival in Ghana

Meet on arrival at the Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Accra

DAY 2 Accra City Tour

Leave for Accra City Tour, driving through the principal streets of Accra to theNational Museum where artifacts of pre- historic and relics of chieftaincy are displayed. You will enjoy a guided tour to know the insights of these artifacts. Continue to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park at the former polo grounds where the Independence of Ghana was declared in 1957 for a guided tour. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure at the Arts and craft Bazaar and other Art Galleries. Return to your Hotel for overnight

DAY 3 Educational Tour of Ghana

Visit the Achimota School and its surroundings. Continue to the industrial and harbour city of Tema. The day will be spent at the Tema beach for relaxation. You will have the opportunity to see the Meridian Rock, which indicates the line where the Greenwich Meridian passes in Ghana. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Accra.

DAY 4 Accra to Kumasi

You will depart from your hotel on a full day scenic drive to Kumasi. Stopover at EjisuJuaben to visit traditional shrine. Overnight in Kumasi.

DAY 5 Kumasi City Tour

Depart on a tour of the Manhyia Palace Museum which is on the premises of the Asantehene’s Palace, the Cultural Centre and the Prempehll Museum. Return to your hotel.

DAY 6 Kumasi to Craft Villages and back to Kumasi

Visit the craft villages at Ahwiaa, Ntonso and Bonwire, noted for their wood carvings, fertility dolls, Adinkra and kente cloths respectively. Return to Kumasi for overnight

DAY 7 Kumasi to Mole

Drive to savannah region of Northern Ghana to view Ghana ’s answer to wildlife at the Mole National Park. Arrive and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

DAY 8 Mole

Early morning game viewing at the mole park. Return to the motel for relaxation.

DAY 9 Mole to Tamale

Drive from Mole to Tamale the Northern regional capital for sightseeing and some artisans at work weaving basket and leather works. Overnight in Tamale.

DAY10 Tamale to Kumasi

Depart from Tamale for Kumasi make a stopover at Kintapo waterfalls. Continue to Kumasi arrive and have the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 11 Kumasi to Cape Coast

Depart for Cape Coast arrives for lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Cape Coast.

DAY 12 Cape Coast Castle

After breakfast depart for Cape Coast Castle which was built by the British in 1667 and was as a slave dungeon during the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. Continue to Elmina Castle the biggest European architecture built by the Portuguese in 1482. Return to your hotel for overnight.

DAY 13 Cape Coast/Elmina Tour

Depart for a walking tour of historical Cape Coast and Elmina Township after breakfast. Socialize with the people and learn about their culture.

DAY 14 Cape Coast to Kakum National Park

Leave hotel for Kakum National Park and experience the canopy walk way, a suspended bridge over the forest floor for a panoramic view of the forest and also learn about the medicinal value of the trees in the forest.

DAY 15 Cape Coast – Free Day

Spend the day at leisure for private activities. Overnight in Cape Coast.

DAY 16 Cape Coast to Assin Manso and back to Cape Coast Leave your hotel for AssinManso to visit the Slave River where the slave had their last bath and also learn about the slave route. Overnight in Cape Coast.

DAY 17 Cape Coast to Takoradi

Leave Cape Coast for Takoradi arrives and check in at your hotel. Leave for sightseeing in a cosmopolitan Gatorade township. Overnight in Takoradi.

DAY 18 Takoradi to Nkroful and Nzulezu

After breakfast leave for the birth place of the first president of Ghana arrive and visit the family home and his first burial place. Continue to Nzulezu village on stilts and experience how the people leave on the river. Overnight in Takoradi.

DAY 19 Takoradi to Accra

Leave Takoradi for Accra arriving late evening for overnight.

DAY 20 Accra – Free Day

Spend the day at leisure for last minute private shopping. Overnight in Accra.

DAY 21 Departure

Free morning till late afternoon departure for the airport for check in for your flight back home.
