Come with us to Ghana for 12 Days Heritage and Wildlife Tour where we will travel to Ada Beach Resort an ideal beach for swimming and fun till sunset, experience the exciting cruising at the Manet Paradise Resort, and continue to Xavi Birds Sanctuary to watch the various species of birds that are in different shapes, colours and sizes. You will also enjoy their welcoming “chorus”. Then followed by a cruise on the Lotor River that provides a chance to observe local fishing practices. We will view the beautiful and diverse flora that frame the river and proceed to the next tourist site at Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary. You will see the endangered Mona Monkeys in their natural habitat.

DAY 1 Arrival in Ghana Meet and transfer from the airport to your Hotel. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 Accra to Ada We will travel to Ada Beach Resort an ideal beach for swimming and fun till sunset. Experience the exciting cruising at the Manet Paradise Resort. Lunch and Dinner will be taken there. Overnight at the Manet Paradise Resort.

DAY 3 Ada to Xavi Birds Sanctuary After breakfast, we will drive to Xavi Birds Sanctuary to watch the various species of birds; the birds are in different shapes, colors and sizes. You will also enjoy their welcoming “chorus”. We will break for lunch. Then followed by a cruise on the Lotor River that provides a chance to observe local fishing practices. We will view the beautiful and diverse flora that frame the river. Our next tourist site is the TafiAtome Monkey Sanctuary. You will see the endangered Mona Monkeys in their natural habitat. Dinner and overnight at Chances hotel in Ho.

DAY 4 Ho to Mountain Afadjato Depart Ho and tour Mountain Afadjato; the highest mountain in Ghana. We will break for lunch and then proceed to Wli Waterfalls to experience the indigenous freshness of the water. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5 Ho to Akosombo Leave Ho and travel to Akosomboafter breakfast to view one of the largest man-made lakes in the world that is the beautiful Volta Lake. We then proceed to Akosombo Dam for a guided tour. They will educate us on how electricity is generated in Ghana. Lunch at Volta hotel. Free leisure. Dinner and overnight at Volta Hotel.

DAY 6 Akosombo to Larteh and Aburi After breakfast, we will drive to Akonedi Shrine at Larteh. They will brief you on the significance of our traditional beliefs and the Shrine; the elders of the village pay homage to the gods at the shrine on behalf of the entire township during special occasions. We will break for lunch at a local restaurant. Followed by a ride to Aburi Botanical Gardens where you experience the pure nature and fresh breeze of the gardens. There will be a brief tour of the gardens including education on the trees and the botanical names. Dinner and overnight at the Aburi Guest House.

DAY 7 Aburi to Kumasi Early morning departure to Kumasi after breakfast. Our first stop is the Manhyia Palace. We will watch a video clip on the Asante Culture and Kingship followed by a guided tour at theMuseum. We will break for lunch. We will then proceed to the Kumasi Cultural Centre for traditional crafts items for sale. Dinner and overnight at Miklin Hotel.

DAY 8 Kumasi to Obuasi This morning we will visit the Obuasi Goldmines. There will be a guided tour at the mining area so that you will experience the process of mining and how the Gold is extracted. Up on arrival in Kumasi, we will take lunch and then, tour the Kejetea Market; one of the biggest open markets in West Africa. We will visit the Kente Village at Bonwre. They also have indigenous Handicrafts, Pottery, Wood Carvings and Traditional Beads for sale. Dinner and overnight at Miklin hotel.

DAY 9 Kumasi to Salaga, Yendi and Tamale Early morning departure to the historic Salaga Slave Market. We will have a local lunch in Salaga, followed by a brief tour of Yendi’s historic township. Upon arrival in Tamale, we will have dinner and overnight at Mariset hotel.

DAY 10 Tamale to Mole National Park After breakfast, we will travel to Mole National Park, the home of “friendly elephants”. Enjoy your walking Safari through this pristine Savanna vegetation with gallery forest along the rivers and streams. We will have lunch followed by a guided tour of the Larabanga Mosque, “the home of the Arabs”. The Mosque contains a Koran which is also as old as the Mosque itself and whose origin is still a mystery. Dinner and overnight at Mole Motel.

DAY 11 Mole to Accra After a relaxed morning, we will travel back to Accra. On our way, we will stop over for lunch. Check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 12 Departure We will have a ride to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, then to the Central Market for last shopping.

Free time for relaxation and parking. Farewell dinner at the hotel followed by departure to the airport.
